HauteLook, and about a week ago I was able to score Urban Decay's self-tanning mousse (originally $28) for only eight bucks! Woo! Being a pasty girl in the land of bronzed beach babes, I was more than willing to try it out.
What it is: Urban Decay describes the product as a light mousse that instantly bronzes the body and face with a gradual self-tanner that builds a lasting tan that darkens over time.
The Verdict: Thank goodness I only spent $8 on this! I don't recommend it. I was looking for a self-tanner with noticeable results, which this product promised but did not deliver. The instant bronze color it promises? There maaay be a slight glow, but it's nothing I would call bronze. The color does not darken, it washes off immediately and pretty much the only thing I noticed from it was glitter all over my body. If you're looking to get your money's worth, this is not the product for you. However, if you're looking for a very subtle glow to brighten up your already existing tan, similar to Michael Kors' Leg Shine, then you'd love this!
My best friend (and absolutely the SWEETEST girl I've ever met) Tiffany just got married last Saturday! Her wedding was on a yacht in Newport Beach and I had the pleasure of doing the bridesmaids make-up. I'm super duper excited because the make-up turned out looking gorgeous (easy when her sisters have bright blue eyes and perfect skin!) and the photographer took some photos of me working on the girls, which will be fun to have. I'll post more photos later! :)
